Our Crew

In the construction industry, it can be difficult to find workers who are dedicated to their trade and take pride in the work they provide.  At Alan R Smith Construction, we understand the importance of having a crew that is trustworthy and honest.  Having our name on the company is proof that we trust the people we work with and we have faith that they will deliver excellent service while on our job sites.  As a customer, you are opening up your homes to us, and it is important to us that you always feel comfortable with each person working on our job site.  Alan has a small, tight knit crew, who have earned our trust, and we are proud to say that they are more like family than employees.  

We are fortunate to have a full time framing crew who are family.  Our crew leader is a talented trim carpenter, who is also a licensed contractor.  Having the ability to be on the job-from beginning to end-allows our crew to be precise in every aspect of the build, ensuring perfection and quality craftsmanship from the studs in the wall that you will not see, to the intricate finish trim work that will be the pride of your home when we leave. 

Occasionally, there are aspects of a build that we can not perform with our crew.  In the event that we are required to bring in a sub contractor, it is important to us to use reputable companies who are familiar with us and the quality of work we expect for our customers.  We have a list of people we prefer to work with because they are familiar with the area, our projects, and the unique requirements of custom projects.  We want our customers to be as happy and satisfied during their projects as they are with the finished product.
